Hat Rug and Throw.

I have just made this hat for my OH Gerry it has two crochet loops on the crown that hang down at the back and can be plaited or left as it is.

I have added a few more rows to my knitted rag rug. I am pleased with it I like the country style I have to get a few more pieces of colourful material.

It is knitted on 30 stitches.

This is the bag of crochet squares and some new wool I am about half way to completing the throw.

A knitted rag rug.

I am making another item for my home which makes three now, a crochet cushion a crochet squares throw and a knitted rag rug, well I have to have my lovely makes as well!

I will make pretty items for my Crafty Bags Shop Folksy again soon, although I will be going to Wales to see my family and to celebrate my OH birthday next week..

I used left over craft material which I have cut to the same width strips and joined into a long strip. I am knitting with big needles to make a rag rug.
Start of knitted rag rug.

I have made a crochet cushion and mobile phone sleeve

I made a crochet cushion not with granny squares this time. This one has double and treble crochet and colour reds oranges and yellows. The back has striped cotton in complementary colouring.

I made this fluffy mobile phone sleeve and put a photo on Facebook. My daughter and her friend like it as I do so I am making a few more. I used Astrakhan crinkly red and fluffy coloured yarn together. It has a loop and button to close.

Making a crochet throw for my home.

I thought I'd make something for myself and it would be something for the home, home decor with a country ( I live in the countryside in a rural village) cosy feel. So I have started a crochet throw made with granny squares. You can see nearby the wool I have been using and I will adding more colours as I go.

Patchwork Shades of Blue Cushion.

I picked up a bundle of blue patterned cotton
squares in a charity shop and thought I'd make a patchwork cushion. I added a few from my own blue scrap material and cut them all to the same size.

I made this 18"x18" cushion with a soft plump polyester cushion pad.  I am pleased with it.  It will have a zip. I misplaced it when I took these photos then found it in the cushion!

This patchwork blues cushion will soon be listed on Crafty Bags Folksy.

Beginning to sew it together.

A lacy knit collar and crochet socks

I have made a lacy collar with cream cotton yarn as lace is in fashion just now. I added this to the two lacy cushions already in Crafty Bags Folksy so I am quite ahead in fashion and home ha. The collar is retro vintage style fashionable in the 40s versitile easy to wash and transforms a simple top. dress or knit or can be worn alone as a beautiful, delicate necklass. I have now quite a varied selection of items and crafts as well as bags and adding to these all the time so be sure to pop back and take a look!

You can follow me on Facebook at   www.facebook.com/CRAFTYBAGS

I just made my first pair of crochet socks. I like that they are not too thick or thin and are comfy I am keeping them for me. They are made with DK acrylic yarn. I may make a few to sell too.

Two crochet trim cushions

I just listed these two cushions in my Folksy shop Crafty Bags.

As the trend is lace in fashion and for pretty items for the home I thought I'd make these crochet lace trim cushions and I am very pleased with how they turned out though I say so myself.

The trim is worked on 272 crochet chain stitches and the pink one is a mix of 74% cotton and 26% linen the cream is 100% cotton.
