Just finished Bag and called it Jazzy Shopper.

Scalloped edge

This was knitted in a bobble and vine pattern in acrylic front and back. The back has the same colours in a different pattern. It has a pink cotton lining which was hand stitched to the inside and it has a pocket. It has a matching shoulder strap with wooden handles each side of the bag. It has a very pretty scalloped edge at the bottom of the bag. The green is a lot brighter than in this photo and it has a purple colour which looks blue in this photo. It was listed today in my Folksy Shop.

Bobbles.

K1 yarn over needle 3 times into stitch, 5 stitches.

Turn knit these 5 stitches.

Turn Purl these 5 stitches.

Turn K1, slip 1, k2tog, psso, K1

Turn purl 3 tog. A bobble!

Knitted Shopper

This is the bag I am making at the moment I have started on the rib which when long enough will be folded over. It will have a lining and small wooden handles at the sides with a shoulder strap.

The bag is made with a bobble and vine pattern.

The green is a brighter green than the photo.

I am pretty good at doing bobbles now.

This is my latest bag which you will find in my Folksy Shop.There are pleats front and back which makes it thick and luxurious.  It measures 18" at the bottom and 12" at the top it is 12" in length.

February and March

February and March has seen some good luck for our family.

In February my OH and myself went to see our family in Wales. Our daughter and her partner had generously bought us a car!!!! We thought we were going back by train we weren't expecting to drive back from Wales in our car! What a lovely surprise!!!!

In March I found out I'd won an Apple iPad 64gb from the Readers Digest prize draw!!! That was a lovely surprize. It will arrive in aprox 6 to 8 weeks.

I am busy again making a selection of bags and I am booking up to do craft fairs this year after the first one I did last year.  Velvety Orange is nearly finished ready to photograph and sell on Folksy.

Tweed Bag and Crocheted Squares

I have just added this Tweed Bag to my Folksy shop. It is made from a remanant I liked. It is a simple design with a tab front and orange button. It is fully lined in a satiny peachy colour with two matching pockets.



Granny Squares

I have made enough squares to make either a cushion or a bag. I will join them together with a light colour and for the back I will make colour squares in one colour. I am going to make a bag with this.
