A Crochet Shawl

I've begun another crochet shawl this time all in treble stitch, I liked the variegated yarn with this pattern the change of colours. I found a white yarn with spots of colours in pink, lilac and yellow and used this yarn. The increase is four treble at the begining and end of each row and I had to unravel three rows as I did just two treble stitches at one end. There are thirty five rows and now I am over halfway. The yarn is 100g DK acrylic and started a second ball, I like crocheting shawls at the moment. And the next item I would like to make is a blanket/throw in blocks of colour of various sizes and knitted, probably I have been making purses and small items as well for a Market Weekend at Heartlands in Pool Cornwall in June with my sister we have a stall each for two days and it is free!

I added this bag to my Folksy Shop today. It has a complimentry orange lining with a green pocket. The strapes are long enough to go over your shoulder.  A colourful bag just right for this summer weather.

My New Display Stand.

I finished this colourful kindle Case today and listed it in Folksy. It is handknitted in stocking stitch with a double lining added to protect your kindle. It has a tab with button hole and a green button. It measures 8" x 5.5" It will fit most size kindle.

I collected this handmade display stand today. It has fold down shelf and sides. I can display more and show case them better. I am really pleased with this. I am booking up to do craft fairs this year.

These are two I made today. They are made using a plaid nylon material. They have red felt insides to protect your phone.

Scalloped edge

This was knitted in a bobble and vine pattern in acrylic front and back. The back has the same colours in a different pattern. It has a pink cotton lining which was hand stitched to the inside and it has a pocket. It has a matching shoulder strap with wooden handles each side of the bag. It has a very pretty scalloped edge at the bottom of the bag. The green is a lot brighter than in this photo and it has a purple colour which looks blue in this photo. It was listed today in my Folksy Shop.

K1 yarn over needle 3 times into stitch, 5 stitches.

Turn knit these 5 stitches.

Turn Purl these 5 stitches.

Turn K1, slip 1, k2tog, psso, K1

Turn purl 3 tog. A bobble!
