Too Wit Too Woo

I just added this Owl Bag Tote to Folksy Shop Crafty Bags today.

I love the crafts and bags with an owls and I thought I'd make an owl bag tote.

I machine stitched a cream cotton material that I thought would be a good match for the body and eye shapes and added felt stitching it to the bag then a zigzag stitch to secure it.

I lined the bag in orange and a lime green cotton and added pockets.

I am really pleased with how it's turned out!

A matching set.

I have just listed this Skinny Scarf, that matches the hat I already made,to my Folksy Shop. 

It is knitted in two strands of 4ply in a stocking stitch and rib stitch.

The colours are rich like autumn colour.

Just added two knitted items to my Folksy Shop today.

Finished Crochet Cushion.

This cushion just needs the final touch buttons sewn onto the cream edging at the top.

It measures 18" x 18" and will be listed for sale in my Folksy shop shortly.

I have started to make a crochet cushion.

I've made a few squares using a puff stitch. It is easy and I will make a cushion, or two. I have quite a bit of wool left and may use it all.

Blogtoberfest #31: Luxury Mohair Hat and Scarf

It says Luxury Mohair on the brand label so that's what I called my hat and scarf set.

I didn't know how best to display the hat then I thought of the pack of balloons I have and luckily there was a white one. It makes a good hat model!

Blogtoberfest #27 My Pop up Shop was a success!

These are a few photographs of my pop up shop today at my home. A few villagers turned out and all bought something and we had tea, coffee and cakes. I just missed getting it advertised in the local paper but still sold three bags, four mobile phone sleeves and a flowered cushion!

My items looked so nice arranged around the house, it looked like a real shop and wouldn't they look good in a real shop too!
