Three projects.

I have three items I am making at the moment.

One. A soft velvety bag made with Laura Ashley material. The velvety bag has yellow flowers and some purples and greens in the material which is so colourful! It will have a front tab design with a magnetic fastener and two shoulder straps. The green material photographed will be used in all items.

Two. A needle case will have colourful felted flowers on the front with a bright yellow and green spotty material on the inside and two pink felts stitched down the middle, making four sections.

Three. A crochet bag made with acrylic yarn in pretty ice sorbet colours will have a multicolour strap and a pretty button and loop with a green lining and pocket. This colourful bag will be just ideal to carry a few essentials while being in fashion!

These items will will be for sale at a craft fair in Mullion I will be going to at the end of September.

I felted a pure new wool jumper by first cutting it into four pieces and putting into a washing machine on a hot wash followed by a cold rinse.

Craft Fair!

I am organising a Craft Fair in the rural village of Stithians at The Resource Centre on the 28th July 2012 from 10m to 4pm in the  Tregonning Hall.

Crafters arrive at 9am to set up and finish at 4.30pm

Refreshments will be provided.

You can park in Church Road where the centre is situated or alternative parking is available in the car park of the New Sports Field.

I hope lots of people will come along and get involved crafters and buyers alike to help make this a sucessful and popular Craft Fair.

The tables are provided and they cost £6.00

Denim Blue

I made and listed this today in my Folksy shop. You can buy unique handmade bags from me at a fraction of the price than from the high street shops. This is made with denim and pretty blue and white material. I top stitched the darts in white to match the bag after first unpicking the beige colour. I am really pleased with this bag. It has two slim shoulder straps and a big pretty metalic button. It has calico for stability with a yellow and white pattern lining and two denim pockets.
