A Few Snippets

I have not been blogging lately as I've been on Folksy I've opened a Shop and addded my first six items so far to it. I have been getting more likes too as a result on my facebook fan page.

I have enjoyed looking at the lovely quilts since joining Lily's blog sbmu and because of this I have been inspired to buy a book about quilting. It is The Quilters Bible so I should gain a few ideas. I got it at a reduced price with a promotional code in a magazine I picked up while in the doctors surgery. I will have a go at making a small quilt and see how it goes.

Its good to be able to buy buttons so cheaply as I found in a charily shop recently in tubes at only 5p each. A Retro Vintage fashion shop were selling buttons at the same price its good having a look through and finding a few lovely bargains.

I have joined the Proffesional Crafters Guild. I received badges to put on my website and facebook fanpage. I wanted one to shown up on the front of my blog pages. I put the first one on okay but it was the wrong size. I couldn't do it a second time it's in one of my blogs anyway.

Also this weekend has been busy I and my famly went to Sophie's Wedding the person I mentioned in my Pink Stretch Limo blog. It was a real family get together with my daughters arriving one by air from Manchester to Newquay in Cornwall, we did not have far to go collect her. The other one arriving by train which takes 5 hours from London to Cornwall.

Myself and the girls each wore a fasinater in our hair we did look the part. The wedding went off without a hitch Sophie wore a traditional white dress with a train and a full length blue satin dress for the evening. We had a three course meal in a nearby hotel for the reception and later a hogroast and disco in the evening. We enjoyed ourselves and a good time was had by all.

Some of my buttons that I bought for 5p each
I might start a quilt
