Yesterday I went to a hen party for my niece which was held at the newly opened Weatherspoons in Camborne and named after John Basset. The limo arrived in the afternoon. It seated eight and it was a leisurely half hour drive to the cinema in Redruth to see Mamma Mia with a choice of wines to celebrate along the way. The cinema complex has seven screens, we had a private showing for our group. Drinks were served during the film on tables by our seats and a buffet was served after. The film was appropriate for the bride in waiting Sophie as she has the same name as the young woman making arrangements for her wedding in the film. We enjoyed singing along and dancing at the end. Apparently this film was booked solid for six weeks when it first was first shown during the summer term.
